Use attention
1. Varistors may cause other problems due to the effect of the impedance of their capacitors on high frequency applications.
2. Direct exposure to the sun or ambient temperature near the heater may exceed the operating temperature that the varistor can withstand
3. When soldering, please be careful not to melt the solder joints and resin of the varistor.
4. If the varistor is applied to a high-voltage line similar to thunder, it is recommended to install the varistor on the 220v power line.
working principle
The varistor utilizes the nonlinear characteristic of the varistor. When an overvoltage occurs between the two poles of the varistor, the varistor can clamp the voltage to a relatively fixed voltage value, thereby protecting the latter circuit.
